Rethinking digital activism

چکیده
This article explores the following research question: How is political activism expressed in connective, affective, and embodied ways, how do these modes result a rearticulation of body central activist signifiers? While connective affective dimensions digital offer invaluable insights into new forms organisation, it remains underexplored concepts “human” “rights” are discursively produced through expressions activism. Therefore, drawing on purposive selection content, we produce discursive analysis three illustrative cases relating to major contemporary issues: Black Lives Matter, #MeToo, Extinction Rebellion. We argue that they each present different constructed signifiers “rights”, which allows for range aims outcomes be degrees antagonism calling, respectively, deconstruction, inclusion, expansion signifiers.
